I learned a lot from simply asking him what would make him happy and what he thinks of his parents. It's important that they see you at your WORST. It's important that you share all of your failures with them and are honest about who you are. Your kids connect with you when you're at your most vulnerable, and you're the most vulnerable in your failures. Wanna know something else?
