LaShondra Mercurius is the President and Co-founder of JLM Strategic Talent Partners which specializes in providing professional talent to construction, infrastructure, and transportation industries. In addition, she is the Co-founder of the Career Excellence Academy (CEA), a training and consulting firm for individuals interested in starting professional careers in the construction, infrastructure, or transportation industries. She serves on the Workforce Development Board for the City of Los Angeles, the WTS National Steering Committee for Women Owned Small Business Roundtable, and the VICA Scholarship Foundation board. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources from California State University, Fullerton.

Aside from being a female minority small business owner, she is the mother of two adult children and one rambunctious seven year old. Her children motivate her to work hard towards developing and empowering the national workforce and communities to keep raising their socio-economic status by connecting individuals to careers and training opportunities.
